Radical license plate holder thingy

It is hard to tell with this bad picture (I didn't have time to get a better one), but the license plate cover of the car in front of me is a scrolling marquee! Good heavens that is cool! Not cool enough for me to get one, but cool enough for me to tail the guy like a stalker for about 5 minutes so I could read the whole thing. It said, "Only one more shopping day until tomorrow."

If I had one, it would probably say, "I <3 zoobies, they taste like chicken." I haven't really thought it through yet. I'm open for suggestions on something better.

The Many Utah Moods

here's a little taste of what Utah has been going through lately. We went from extreme snow, to extreme inversion, to heat, warm rains to extreme snow again. check it out...talk about schizophrenia! Make up your mind Utah! Geez! Just be summer already!

Duuuuuuuuuuude!

This is Tristin, and I just want to start by saying this blog is so beautiful it nearly made me cry...and then I recovered. I have nothing super important to say, but here is a list of stuff I want to say.

  • Happy Birthday Jordan!! If you want to join the celebration, go to jordanandmaci.blogspot.com and leave a comment. Woot.
  • I edited the family pictures from the last post and I think it looks awesome. Here it is:

Don't tell me it isn't awesome or I will just snap...
  • Yesterday I finally figured out how to sync my iPhone with my Google contacts. It took nearly a whole day and I'm really mad at my computer. But I did it and I'm proud of it. Don't pretend you aren't impressed. You are blown away by my skills. You can barely resist calling me right now to help you with all your computer needs. Resist! If you can.
That's all for now. If Juanique doesn't ban me from posting again, there will be more fantasticness on the way. Bye!

Salvesen/Roney Family Pictures

Yesterday, on Martin Luther King Jr Day, my side of the family (bless their hearts) decided to do family photos. If you know my family you know that trying to get us to do something altogether is going to bring about fussing and complaining and impatience. We first set up the camera where we all were facing the sun. Not cool!! So we had the blazing sun shining in our eyes and what we'd do is set the timer of the camera, all close our eyes and when the camera beeped on cue we'd say "1,2,3 OPEN" and we'd all open our eyes, smile and wait for the camera to take the picture. What would follow were a lot of groans, "AAAAH's" "Ouches" and "OOOOO's". It was quite hilarious hearing us all complain about our eyes hurting at the same time. I'll post those pics up soon but right now I'll put this pic of us that caught us off guard. I thought it was kinda cute, actually.

The Past Month, or So...

So a lot has happened the past month. In December we celebrated 6 birthdays and our 2 year Anniversary (woot woot), we celebrated christmas and then New Years we spent playing Pirates Cove with Conryd, Aly and my mother in-law. We're not really the partying type.

anywho, I just wanted to post some pics over the past month that I've taken from my iphone that might be fun sharing. Oh and I've transferred all of my blog stuff from our previous blog jtroney.wordpress.com to this one so if everthing seems a little out of wack, that is why....

Christmas morning at Tristins Parents house. It's a sea of presents!!

This is Dessi after playing outside in the snow for about 20 minutes. She kinda forms these snowballs in her hair that we have to blow dry so she doesnt wet everything in the house. She may look like a stupid dog but shes really quite adorable!

Flowers From Tristin

My birthday flowers from Tristin

This was taken on the 9th of January at about 5pm. I thought the moon was absolutely gorgeous and worth showing ppl!

Cayman, Baby!!

On Sunday, the 3rd of August, 2008, Tristins family and I flew on a plane to the awesome Cayman Islands. We arrived there about 8:30pm and were welcomed with a freak rainstorm that hit us a quick as it left us. Bebe decided to throw her clothes and diaper off to go dancing in the storm and roll in the puddles of water (I wish I took a picture of her doing her little rain dance now that I think of it). She's a hippie in the making :)

Monday, we all got settled in, swam in the pool, relaxed, read, and Tristin and I ant on a canoe ride out to rum point. I was also ableto finish my awesome book I was reading, Breaking Dawn! And to all the haters of that book, it wasn't that bad okay!
Tuesday we all went out to stingray city, played with the stingrays and then went to look for sea glass.
Today, Wednesday, we went out to snorkel by the reef where we saw a lot of fishies and an eel (ooh). Now we're just relaxing and enjoying our peace and quiet. That's when Tristin convinced me to do this blog, yay! So I hope that who ever reads this enjoys it. I've been meaning to start blogging a while back so now I'm glad I get to finally do it

On Thursday night, Tristin and I went kayaking in the bay with the glowing plankton. What was really cool was when you'd put your ore in the water and startle the fish, you could see them swim because their movements would cause the plankton to glow showing us exactly where they were and where they were swimming to. I tried to take a picture of it but unfortunately it didnt really work but we got an AMAZING picture of the moon, the bay and the milkyway of stars. Cayman is just magical. If anyone every has the opportunity to go, GO!! It's just paradise!

On Friday we went out to stingray city again and OH MY it was AMAZING! The stingrays were plenty, the tourists few and we had plenty of squid to feed them so they were hungry and desperate to eat. as we got in the water they literally just swarmed us. It was hard to not step on them because they would come to you at all angles and swim on you. I cant explain it well so hopefully the pictures will give you a better idea.

Here you can see the stingrays circling us. The darker, bigger stingrays are the females and are more friendly. You can actually hold them long enough to kiss them on the nose. The small, lighter stingrays are really mean and kinda whip you with their tails which are really scratchy. They don't really sting, they just startle you if you tough the tail.

Graduation July, 2008

So this is mine and Tristins first blog!! Woot woot!! I want to start off my blog by saying that last week I graduated from UCMT! Party on! And I finished my last clinic on Friday and then took the MBLEX and passed so now I can officially call myself a licences massage therapist. Unfortunately I won't be going to my graduation BUT no worries, I'll think about it when I'm chilling next to a beach In Cayman :) he he! Below are some pictures of my lastday at school with some of my friends. It was such am amazing day. I'm going to miss my class like crazy! (but I'm still glad to be done with school)

This is US!!

So this is us! Me and Tristin. We met on April Fools day in 2005 (it was a blind date too), got engaged on the 9th of August 2006, and got married in the Timpanogos Temple on the 28th of December, 2008. And I can honestly say that from the 2nd of April of 2006, Tristin and I have been with each other every day, except for two days, up until now. (those two days were when we broke up). Not that you really care but I think its pretty cool! So here's a blog to share our lives with you. We truely and honestly love living. There is so much to enjoy from life and when you have someone to share it with, it becomes invaluable to you. One of the reasons for me blogging right now is so that I can not only share our memories, but look back on the and remember them.

So hope you enjoy "us" as much as we do!

Here is a link that you can visit to look through our wedding book. We FINALLY designed it ourselves after almost 2 years of being married.
